IUCN, established in 1948, has evolved into the world's largest and most advanced environmental network. Its membership comprises experts, influential governmental and non-governmental organizations, and indigenous peoples from over 160 countries. The organization's diverse commissions are supported by a global network of more than 15,000 experts.

CNVP values its membership in the IUCN highly, since only through joint efforts can the mission for environmental issues be achieved.
