Young members of National and Local Associations trained on NGO Management and service delivery

From 26 to 28 of May 2021, CNVP Kosovo facilitated a two days training workshop on service delivery and organizational management of national and local level associations.

Participants in this training workshop were young members of the National Association of Private Forest Owners (NAPFO) and local Associations of Private Forest Owners (APFOs) from across Kosovo municipalities where associations operate.

CNVP SSPDF project continues its efforts in capacity development measures of NAPFO and APFOs members on service delivery, development of project proposal, the internal functioning of associations, and the importance of governance. 
The capacity building training primarily focused on the following topics: 

➢ Leadership;
➢ Preparation of Project proposals (fundraising);
➢ Use of social networks;
➢ Advocacy, communication, and networking.

The methodology of the training was to offer theory aspects, group work, and field visits to see the good practices related to biomass production for renewable energy and chestnut demonstration plots in the Peja region. At the end of the training, participants were awarded certificates of participation.

This training is organized in the framework of the project “Strengthening Sustainable Private and decentralized Forestry (SSPDF), funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Prishtina and implemented by CNVP Kosovo.
