A new B2B mission is underway, building on the success of our recent mission in the bioenergy sector.

It now expands cooperation into Non-Wood Forest Products (NWFP) and Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (MAPs) through the SUNREED project implemented by CNVP Kosovo, with the support of the Embassy of Sweden in Prishtina (Sida).

Nordic companies Balkan Berries Hodling ApS, a Danish berry sourcing and trading company, and Swedish Swedish Svamp och Barspecialisten AB (SBS), a specialist in wild berries and mushrooms, are on the ground in Kosovo, meeting local producers, associations, and institutions to explore concrete cooperation and investment opportunities.

This visit, being implemented also in partnership with Shoqata Organika, builds on momentum from Malmö and earlier Nordic engagement, where CNVP facilitated the participation of Kosovar companies in a Nordic B2B event with Swedish and regional buyers.

Across Prishtina, Kamenica, Novo Brdo, Istog, Skenderaj and surrounding areas, the delegation is engaging with key actors including Fungi FF, Natyra AG, Eurofruti, Agroflorentina, Agroproduct, Mjedra e Kosovës Association, Organika, and others driving Kosovo’s NWFP sector forward.

As Xhevat Lushi, Country Director of CNVP Kosovo, noted:
"We are now seeing the first real steps from talks into cooperation, as Kosovo and Nordic companies work together on concrete opportunities in the MAPs and NWFPs sectors."

What started as market interest is now turning into concrete conversations and real opportunities for cooperation.
