Two-Day Forestry Training Successfully Concluded in Debar, North Macedonia
Today in Debar, North Macedonia, we successfully concluded a two-day workshop for forestry workers and practitioners, organized by CNVP Skopje.
On the second day of the training, participants had the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they had acquired in practical field conditions. A hands-on assessment of seed trees was conducted, while principles for soil and water conservation were demonstrated and tested in practice.
The field activities fostered a constructive and engaging discussion on various forestry-related topics, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions directly and exchange experiences with forestry experts.
The training contributed to strengthening the capacities of forestry practitioners, enhancing their professional knowledge and skills, and promoting sustainable approaches to the management and conservation of forest resources.
The two-day training was organized as part of the regional project “Integrated Forest Management along the Drin River Basin” , which is implemented in partnership with ICEP – Association for Global Development and funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
