The two-days training for forestry workers in Deber, organized by CNVP Skopje, has begun
On 11 June in Debar, North Macedonia, a two-day training for forestry workers and practitioners began, organized by CNVP Skopje. The aim of the training is to strengthen knowledge and skills for sustainable forest management, as well as to improve the practical application of field activities.
During the first day of the training, participants had the opportunity to attend theoretical lectures on the following topics:
• Assessment of seed trees for collecting forest reproductive material
• Principles of soil and water protection
• Integrated forest management with an emphasis on field operations
On the second day of the training, field activities were carried out, during which participants had the opportunity to directly apply the knowledge gained in a practical environment.
The training contributes to strengthening the capacities of forestry practitioners and promoting sustainable approaches in forest resource management .
The training is organized within the regional project “Integrated Forest Management along the Drin River Basin” , implemented in partnership with ICEP – Association for Global Development and funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
