A field visit was organized to monitor the results of the Local Economic Development (LED) Project in Korça, Devoll, and Maliq. Erik Iles, Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Development Cooperation at the Embassy of Sweden in Albania, joined the CNVP Albania team during the visit.

Together, they met with local businesses working with Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPs) — seeing firsthand how traditional practices are being transformed through innovation and sustainable approaches.

The LED Project, funded by the Government of Sweden, helps small and medium businesses grow greener and stronger by supporting energy-efficient technologies, better production methods, and new market opportunities.

Entrepreneurs shared how this support is helping them improve quality, increase income, and protect the environment at the same time. Their stories showed how passion, hard work, and sustainability can truly go hand in hand.
