CNVP Kosovo had the pleasure of welcoming Madelyn Williams for Summer 2025

Madelyn is currently pursuing her master’s degree at the Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce at the University of Kentucky, where she is specializing in diplomacy and security/intelligence.
In addition to her academic studies, Madelyn has a passion for sustainable energy and is aiming to pursue a career in the energy sector - specifically in the areas of renewable solutions and long-term energy resilience. This interest aligned perfectly with CNVP’s mission to support sustainable, climate-resilient development across the Western Balkans.
Madelyn joined our office in Prishtina as an intern through a collaboration between Isla Internships Abroad and CNVP. This partnership aims to provide international intern placements that support meaningful work on projects, research, and other activities.
Over the past two months, Madelyn has been a valued member of the CNVP Kosovo team. She brought with her a fresh perspective, analytical mindset, and genuine curiosity about the region’s development challenges and opportunities. We saw a great level of dedication and proactive approach in every task she undertook.
One of Madelyn’s key contributions was the drafting of a Renewable Energy Gap Analysis, which she presented to our team during a workshop held in Istog. This data-driven overview analyzed the current state of renewable energy in the Balkans, identified challenges, and highlighted opportunities for progress. Her work offers valuable insights that will support CNVP’s ongoing efforts in promoting sustainable energy in the region.
Thank you, Madelyn, for your hard work and for being such a positive presence at CNVP Kosovo. We wish you continued success in your academic and professional journey!
