Important MoU Signed for Kamenica Municipality
The Municipality of Kamenica and the "Pyjet e Dardanes" Association have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote afforestation and sustainable forest management. This partnership will mobilize our community to rehabilitate public forest lands, protect the environment, and ensure active local involvement.
Under the MoU, the Municipality will designate afforestation sites, provide funding for planting materials, and ensure logistical support, while the Association will lead technical planning, organize planting with community involvement, and maintain the new forests.
This initiative is proudly supported by CNVP Kosovo through its SUNREED (Sustainable Use of Natural Resources for Environment and Economic Development) project, financed by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina (Sida).
