Several activities are now happening in the beautiful Shala Valley, where 9 local grantees are working to improve their incomes by carrying out conservation and environmentally friendly actions.

Since many of the grantees don’t have experience with managing grants, they need some help to make sure everything is done properly, especially with the paperwork. For this reason, CNVP staff is meeting with them face-to-face to explain the procedures step by step and to help them complete the necessary documents.

Through this support, CNVP is not only helping local people increase their incomes by carrying out green activities, but also strengthening their skills and knowledge. This way, they can continue working successfully even after the project ends.

All of this is part of the Integrated Forest Management (IFM) along the Drin River Basin project, which focuses on ecological sustainability and fighting climate change.

The project is supported by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), initiated by ICEP, and implemented by CNVP Foundation.
