As part of the activities supported by the Integrated Forest Management (IFM) project, local sub-grantee Vladimir Vladaj has successfully completed the planting of 200 walnut trees in the area of Peçaj, Shalë, Shkodër.

This initiative supports sustainable forest management and contributes to improving the environment and local livelihoods. Walnut trees are not only valuable for their high-quality timber and nutritious fruit, but they also play an important role in soil protection and biodiversity.

The planting was done in close cooperation with local community members, ensuring that the trees are well cared for and maintained in the coming years. By planting these trees, Vladimir Vladaj is contributing to both environmental protection and the long-term economic potential of the area.

This activity is part of the project “Integrated Forest Management Along the Drin River Basin”, funded by Austrian Development Cooperation, initiated by ICEP - Association for Global Development, and implemented by CNVP Foundation.
