A new partnership agreement was signed between CNVP and family business Freskia from Gjakova to upgrade the existing chestnut collection point.

This joint effort is important in developing the chestnut market in Kosovo. With co-investment support, the collection point—established last year by Freskia—will now be equipped with a dryer, cooling unit, and other tools to improve quality and expand market opportunities for local producers.

The initiative aims to support local communities by creating better storage conditions and increasing the value of this important forest product.

The Sustainable Use of Natural Resources for Environment and Economic Development (SUNREED) project is funded by the Embssy of Sweden in Pristina (Sida) and implemented by CNVP Kosovo.
