From June 5–7, our CNVP team joined the incredible ELMIA Wood Fair—one of the world’s biggest forestry events—celebrating its 50th edition deep in the Swedish forests of Bratteborg! With over 300 exhibitors from 24 countries, it was a powerful showcase of innovation, tradition, and global collaboration.

We explored the latest in forest tech: from AI-driven tools, biomass energy, and biochar production to autonomous planting machines and cutting-edge equipment for logging and wood processing. Highlights included the Innovation Square and Makers Place, where the future of sustainable forestry came to life. 

Beyond the tech, we had meaningful conversations with Swedish companies, sparking new ideas and partnerships that could strengthen forest management and bioenergy efforts in Kosovo. 

ELMIA wasn’t just an event—it was an inspiring reminder of how innovation and international cooperation can shape a greener future. We’re excited about the next steps and the opportunities ahead for Kosovo’s forests!
