CNVP Kosovo, through its SUNREED project supported by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina (Sida), is proudly celebrating World Environment Day today in Deçan! 

Under the global theme “Let’s Fight Plastic Pollution”, we have come together with local partners, community members, and volunteers to raise awareness about the impact of plastic waste and the power of nature-based solutions. 

From inspiring speeches about the urgency to fight plastic pollution, to practical and informative presentations on how each of us can reduce our plastic footprint, today’s activities are centered around education, action, and community involvement.

Participants are rolling up their sleeves in a clean-up effort to remove plastic waste from nature. 

Thanks to the Municipality of Deçan for hosting us, to the local public company for waste management Higjiena, and our partner NGO Malesia for its contributions in marking this day.
