CNVP Kosovo is hiring a project coordinator to coordinate the implementation of a three-year project funded by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) on Integrated Forest Management (IFM) along the Drin River Basin (Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia).  This project has been initiated by ICEP and funded by ICEP and the Austrian Development Cooperation.

Working from CNVP’s office in Pristina, the project Coordinator will be primarily responsible for:

  • Coordinating and supporting the implementation of integrated forest management and achieving the overall goal of the project;
  • Improve the knowledge of IFM among project stakeholders;
  • Planning and implementing project activities in the field; and
  • Supporting all other activities as directed by CNVP’s Country Director and project manager of IFM project.

Applicants should hold a university degree in a relevant discipline such as forestry, natural resources, have at least 5 years‘ professional experience in related fields, and be a team player with good communication skills.

Additional competences should include:

  • Excellent IT and tech. skills (MS office, use of forestry tools and technology)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Albanian;
  • Good knowledge of policy and situation on forest and rural development in Kosovo; and
  • Driving license: minimum B – category

The starting date of the appointment will be 20 March 2023, (or earlier, if possible). The contract period will be until 31 December 2023, with possible continuation until 31 October 2025, as based on work performance.
