CNVP supports NAPFO on implementation plan activities for 2020

On 11 June 2020, CNVP Kosovo together with the National Association of the Private Forestry Owners (NAPFO) Board of Directors organized a joint workshop for coordination and discussion of the plan activities for support of capacity development measures for strengthening the structure of Association of Private Forest Owners (APFOs) in improving the service delivery, advocacy, promotion, and visibility.

The main topic of the workshop was to organize a process of evaluation of the existing NAPFO strategy, and in the same time to draft action plan for the preparation of the new strategy, including NAPFO’s priorities for next six month of 2020:

  1. increase further membership and improve mechanisms for fee collection;
  2. improve service delivery that focuses on local economic development, raising- awareness, providing information for association members, including and women and youth producer groups;
  3. expand the gender aspects of decision-making processes, particularly linked to the further development of NTFP value chains;
  4. improve networking, relationships, and partnerships with other actors

The activity was organized through the Sida-funded project Strengthening Sustainable Private and Decentralized Forestry that is being implemented by CNVP Kosovo.
